One of the greatest things for breakfast
When I first moved to Canada, I couldn’t help myself from missing Vietnamese breakfast. If you have a chance to visit Viet Nam, please check out some of our morning treats. You will quickly understand why. Most of Vietnamese breakfast are savoury. It’s more like a proper meal than just something you grab on the go. Because of that, I struggled with the thought of having sweet delicious muffins for breakfast.
In fact, I had been trying to avoid having muffins for a longest time until one of my college friends bought me one on our group late night study. At the time, I still couldn’t allow myself to have sweet in the morning, and it doesn’t make sense to eat muffins for lunch or dinner since it’s a breakfast. However, I couldn’t be more wrong. I was blew away by the taste and the texture of it. The muffin was crumby on the top, soft in the middle, moist yet fluffy, and full of banana flavour. That muffin has changed everything.
Quickly after that, I started to experience with baking my own muffins. Can you guess which muffin recipe I tried first. Yes, banana muffins – the Queen B. Literally though, Beyoncé in her yellow dress from Lemonade is basically a walking bunch of banana. It’s the best. Back to my muffins, my recipe include all of the basic ingredients you can find in any muffin recipe and my own little twist. Nuts. Yes, I’m nut and I put nuts in my banana muffins. It the next best thing after Beyoncé’s yellow dress.
Here is the life lesson: Do whatever you want to do and don’t care about what people think. If you want to eat muffins for dinner, go ahead. If you want to pursue your dream, do it (it just got deep real quick). If you want to kill someone, DON’T (oup, I ruined it)
